Fix the problem that IE can only access to https sites but not http

Descriptions

  • The platform was Windows 7 64 bit and the browser was IE 11.
  • Nothing happened when i tried to connect to http://www.youtube.com and http://www.google.com. It showed padding when pressing F12 to watch the network states. Everything went well when i tried to connect to https://www.youtube.com and https://www.google.com.
  • Everything went well when Pressing F8 to enter to the safe mode with network when booting computer.
  • Everything went well when using Chrome.

Solutions

  • netsh winsock reset
  • I found a lot of solutions by kerwords but only the command above worked. Maybe the solution is different depend on computer.
